IFI Global Awards Program (IFI GAP)
IFI’s Global Awards Program (IFI GAP) recognizes and awards design excellence at the world level. Working closely with IFI member and expert networks, IFI identifies contributions of the profession’s individual luminaries and the best-of-the-best of built environments. This biennial program acknowledges exceptional leadership and talent internationally.
IFI’s highest honor, the IFI PRIZE, along with the IFI Fellowship (FoIFI) and the IFI Design Journalism Award (IFI DJA) recognize the exemplary contribution of individuals in strengthening and progressing Interior Architecture/Design, both within the profession and to broader audiences.
In the form of a global design competition, IFI’s Design Distinction Awards (IFI DDA) recognize excellence in designed outcomes of built projects. IFI DDA offers a quality peer-reviewed assessment of the best completed works from across the world.
IFI GAP awards and prizes are presented every two years at a special red-carpet Gala Awards Ceremony ceremony in the company of international peers and colleagues gathered together for this prestigious industry event.

IFI GAP 2023-2024
IFI is pleased to announce that 2023-2024 marks the launch of the third edition of the IFI Global Awards Program, which comprises four of the highest honors achievable in Interior Architecture/Design profession. All IFI Member organizations are invited to nominate individuals for the IFI PRIZE and IFI Design Journalism Award (IFI DJA). The Design Distinction Awards (IFI DDA) recognize excellence in built design projects and are open to to Interior Architects/Designers globally.
