IFI Design Distinction Award Finalists

The 2024 IFI DDA – IFI Design Distinction Awards global design competition saw a number of exemplary entries and a wide span of represented countries, from high end commercial to visionary student projects. These exceptional spaces are shaping today’s human experience.

A rigorously juried competition, the stellar 10 person IFI international independent jury panel of recognized world design leaders and experts, selected 97 projects following an open call for recently completed and built projects in 10 categories – from these, one Gold winner, two Silver winners and five Bronze winners is crowned in each of the Commerce, Habitat, Health, Humanitarian, Learning, Play, Stay, Student, Sustainability and Work categories.

Among the shortlisted IFI DDA 2024 projects are a sustainable, creativity and comfort school built using the indigenous earthbag technique of construction in Kampala, Uganda; the coexistence of modern design with traditional building techniques within a religious space; a contemporary residence which is rooted in childlike fantasy and youthful spirit and innovative bookstore which embodies the full soul of a city and a shelter for cultural growth.

Finalists represent those leading the way in Interior Architecture/Design practice through their built work; contributing at the highest level to raising the bar of design innovation and excellence. Final IFI DDA winners will be announced at the end of the month, March 2024. Congratulations to all Finalists!
