IFI welcomes Izmir University of Economics as an Educational Member

Izmir University of Economics (IUE), located in the Aegean region of Turkey, has joined IFI as an Educational Member. Its Interior Architecture and Environmental Design Department was founded in 2004 and since then it has actively seeked to engage with the best in the field worldwide, promoting the international publications and experiences of its instructors, organizing workshops with partners from different countries, participating in IFI programs and now joining IFI as a member.

Assoc.Prof.Dr. Deniz Hasirci, Head of the Department, highlights: “As an international school, we recognize that communication and network are the most important factors of being global. IFI as the only global forum of the interiors discipline is a very good opportunity for the design schools to take part in the critical dialogue process of the world of interiors”.
