This year, BDIA approached their members with a question of what their favorite interior place was during these unusual and challenging times, in response to the isolation introduced due to COVID-19.
In reflection of this question, BDIA requested its members and interiors professionals throughout Germany to utilize their natural talents of hand sketching to draw their favorite interior places, using only pencil, colored materials, or black and white. As expressed on their website, “Hand-drawn sketches are special instruments: they make it possible to express a design idea in a targeted manner and at the same time (still) leave areas open.”
