In direct reaction to the coronavirus pandemic, IUE’s interior architecture & environmental design program took the opportunity to welcome students, faculty, and program staff to evaluate how their spaces were adapted to meet current needs during times of Covid-19. These changes are not only physical, but psychological and physiological, and further support the ‘nexus’ between all interiors. Participants in this years WID celebration were encourage to sketch, photograph, or videotape their spaces that experienced adaptations due to Covid-19, and share these spaces/adaptations with the world via instagram.
