In the context of the 2nd year Design Studio at Izmir University of Economics-Turkey, Kaname Yanagisawa from Chiba University-Japan, Laura Galluzzo from Politecnico di Milano-Italy and Bersun Ertürk from Elite LLC-United Arab Emirates were welcomed to celebrate World Interiors Day today. In the framework of IFI’s theme, “DESIGN AS A GLOBAL CONVERSATION”, these distinguished international guests briefly presented their projects on various global topics like participation, adaptive reuse, transformation, creating short-term human experiences for events, related to interiors. This was followed by a fruitful Q&A session with guests, students, and instructors, resulting in a global conversation in the truest sense and a wonderful sense of connection and community.
