CIAT – Chamber of Interior Architects Turkey
The Chamber of Interior Architects (CIAT), Izmir Branch, invited IFI CEO Shashi Caan to join the IFI World Interiors Day (IFI WID) celebrations held in Izmir this year. Together with the Metropolitan Municipality of İzmir, which is the first and only IFI member of the municipal area in Turkey, CIAT hosted an IFI Interiors Declaration Adoption (IFI IDA). During the general IFI WID celebrations, the 2019 student design competition, focusing on “Interiors Changing Lives” was was celebrated with a student awards ceremony, recognizing the Aegean region of Turkeys’ current design students.
İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Tunç Soyer, the Deans and Heads of the Departments of Interior Architecture from Aegean region universities, Faculty Members and a large number of Interior Architects from across the Aegean region attended this years IFI WID 2019 events and celebrations.
