IFI Voices – Exchanging Ideas

With an emphasis on the business and market contributions of design, in partnership with Design Diffusion News Magazine (DDN), IFI Voices showcases examples of the best designed places and products. With DDN’s nine (9) editions per year, we plan for a monthly focus on a different nation, world region or issue.

Investing in Creative Capital

As the world adjusts to new all-encompassing circumstances, Design remains pivotal to the search for new creative solutions required to support and restrengthen all civic activities across the world. After all, a new normal is afoot and design can lead by example. The IFI creative community of responsible place makers is ever more convinced of the need to harness the extraordinary power of Design for fresh advancements. As we focus on considering renewed commercial and business endeavors, IFI realizes that the post-COVID world is increasingly flattened, with percolation of creative leadership stemming from all parts of the globe. Working with DDN, in this issue IFI showcased a cross-section of design voices from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. Whether native to the region, or international participants helping to shape the local context, all contributed to both its short- and long-term economic development.
