King Sejong Memorial Hall + Simmons Gallery | South Korea

KOSID – Korean Society of Interior Architects/Designers

This year, the KOSID traveled to the King Sejong Memorial Hall and Simmons Gallery in Yeogu City, near Seoul.

The King Sejong Memorial Hall boasts a fantastic collection from the Chosun dynasty of Korea, highlighting the Hangul which is a Korean language.

As of lately, the Simmons Gallery has been a “hot spot” for travelers, offering a factory and pavilion for publicly explore Simmons history and their products.

Closing the field trip, KOSID also visited the historic church of Wonju City, which embodies the modern age of architectural history in South Korea.
